Silver Antelope

Silver Antelope Award

The Silver Antelope Award, created in 1942, is the regional-level distinguished award of Scouting America, acting through the National Court of Honor. The Theodore Roosevelt Council is part of Council Service Territory 10. The award recognizes registered Scouters of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service to the territory.

Anyone may nominate a deserving registered Scouter to the Council for the Silver Antelope. Completed nomination forms are first submitted to the Council for local approval then submitted to the National Court of Honor.  Awards are presented each year at the territory awards luncheon held in conjunction with the National Annual Meeting each spring.
