Eagle Hall of Fame & Recognition Dinner
A celebration of achievement, the Eagle Hall of Fame & Recognition Dinner hosted by the Council and local Arthur R. Eldred NESA Chapter recognizes recent Eagle Scouts and applauds prestigious professionals who have made noteworthy accomplishments as they follow the Eagle Trail through life. A new class is inducted each year into the Nassau County Eagle Scout Hall of Fame. Honorees showcase business success, leadership in their communities, and exceptional service to Scouting. Sporting Clay Shoot
The annual Sporting Clay Shoot is a fun-filled day, held at the renowned Peconic River Sportsman’s Club in Manorville. Guests kick off the morning with a continental breakfast and then enjoy a 15-station sporting clay course, each with a different presentation of clays and targets to challenge their marksman skills. The day ends with a delicious lunch and awards presentation, along with on-site raffles and auctions. This year’s event will be held on Friday, September 19th. Council Recognition Dinner
The Annual Council Recognition Dinner is an evening of fellowship to thank and recognize our volunteers who deliver the Scouting program in Nassau County. The event features the annual Silver Beaver Awards ceremony, the highest honor bestowed upon a volunteer at the Council level, and recognizes registered Scouters of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service. Cigar Dinner
Each year, cigar aficionados gather for a celebratory evening of cigars, steak dinner, top-shelf drinks, raffles, a silent auction, and camaraderie to raise funds for Scouting’s mission to provide the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Good Scout Dinner
The Good Scout Awards Dinner celebrates Scouting’s rich history in the Long Island community while raising funds for Scouting programs in Nassau County, N.Y. Traditionally, more than 200 guests attend and enjoy a sit-down dinner and formal awards presentation.
